iPhone and iPad app (test version)

AI-School has its own app for iPhone and iPad. The app is not in the App Store yet, but you can already use it as a test version through TestFlight, Apple's testing environment. Anyone with an AI-School account can join.

What do you need?​

  • An iPhone or iPad with iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or newer
  • An Apple account that you can use to download apps
  • Your regular AI-School account (Google, Microsoft or email, just like on the website)

Installing the app​

  1. Install the free app TestFlight from the App Store.
  2. On your iPhone or iPad, open the invitation: testflight.apple.com/join/mvvNEPdy.
  3. Tap Accept and then Install.
  4. Open AI-School from your home screen. An orange dot next to the name shows that it is a test version.
  5. Find your school or organization and log in as you are used to.
Automatic updates

TestFlight notifies you when there is a new test version. Turn on Automatic Updates in TestFlight to always have the latest version. A test version works for at most 90 days; usually a new one is available well before that.

What can you do with the app?​

  • Chat with the AI models and assistants of your school, including by voice
  • Transcription: make recordings and have them transcribed, even when you lock the screen
  • Add files from your phone, or share audio and documents from other apps
  • Link a Plaud recorder: new recordings come in automatically and are transcribed automatically
  • For teachers: My groups with the AI policy per group
  • For administrators: Administration of staff, students, groups and accounts

What you see in the app depends on your role and your school's settings, just like on the website.

Giving feedback​

You help us enormously by reporting problems and ideas:

  • Take a screenshot in the app and tap Share Beta Feedback, or
  • open TestFlight, choose AI-School and tap Send Beta Feedback.

If the app crashes, TestFlight asks whether you want to share the crash report.

Privacy​

Through the public link, TestFlight does not share your name and email address with us. TestFlight only shows us how often the app is used, whether it crashes and which version you have. Feedback you send through TestFlight goes to us and to Apple. What you do in the app falls under the same privacy agreements as the website.

Stop testing​

Open TestFlight, choose AI-School and tap Stop Testing. Then delete the app. Your account and your data in AI-School remain intact.
