Features
Through Features you centrally determine which AI functions are available. This is the only management page for these function rights; the Restrictions step in the environment contains only usage limits.
Employees and Students
At the environment level, you set features separately for employees and students. For students, you can then add exceptions at the school, group, and student level. You only see exceptions you add yourself.
- Open Schools and groups.
- Add a school exception.
- Load the groups of that school only when necessary.
- Load the students of a group only when necessary.
- Choose per feature Inherit, Allow, or Block.
A block at a higher level cannot be overturned at a lower level. Therefore, a group or student cannot broaden the central security policy.
For every feature, the page shows the effective value and its source: environment, school, group, or student. If a higher level blocks it, Allow is unavailable at lower levels.
