v3.9.0
This release bundles the improvements since 3.8.0 for AI-School, AI-Corporate, and AI-Public, including the interim desktop versions 3.8.1 through 3.8.5. The native mobile apps below are delivered via TestFlight, the App Store, and Google Play; that availability is separate from the web release.
-
Desktop: offline and local AI: an offline mode that uses only a local model, with chats staying on the laptop; administrators can turn the mode off. Local documents are read with text recognition, including scanned PDFs. Small local models work more reliably: they read the source first before creating a document, put table columns in the order of your question, and try again after an empty answer.
-
Desktop: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel: polished presentations, reports, and workbooks with real, editable charts, even without LibreOffice. Word gets a real table of contents, line charts get a readable axis, and comparisons get a real table; test files from the AI no longer end up in your folder.
-
Desktop: vibe coding: build a web app or game without installing Node or git yourself, with a built-in web server, git, and a link to your own GitHub account. The AI sees page errors on its own, watches along in the built-in browser, and can click and type on local pages to test whether buttons and keys work. Tasks can run longer, and with "Trust this project" you get fewer permission cards.
-
Desktop: European AI: with European AI you choose GLM 5.3 or Mistral Large 4 in the desktop app. GLM 5.3 is the fastest for programming and creating documents; you use Mistral Large 4 for questions with images.
-
Desktop: moving from an earlier version: after signing in, your own local chats, recordings, and preferences from the previous desktop version are transferred automatically. Chats from other accounts stay behind, and the old data is kept unchanged.
-
Mistral in the chat: long answers from Mistral models are no longer cut off halfway.
-
A lighter, premium interface: a refreshed design with a navigation rail on wide screens and a bottom bar on phones, skeleton loaders instead of spinners, understandable error messages, better accessibility and dark mode, faster long chats, and a command palette. The chat loads 74% lighter.
-
Lessons and e-learning: a printable worksheet and answers as PDF, with and without AI, and editing lessons with AI. The e-learning has a single practical track with an automatic final assessment.
-
Knowledge base: central SharePoint folders as a source for the knowledge base.
-
Costs and budgets: budget profiles and notices at 50, 75, 90, and 100% of the budget, also by email.
-
Native apps: AI-Corporate is now also available as an app for iPhone, iPad, and Android. Management at three levels, the knowledge base, budget profiles, Plaud and AIREC recorders, better support for iPad, tablets, and Chromebooks, and a voice chat that starts properly right away.
-
Administration and workflows: better protected administration pages with translated texts, workflows that no longer get stuck after an error, a repaired DUO import, and an improved create-an-assistant-with-AI flow.
-
Invoice processing (custom module): a work queue with its own page, a case file view, source recovery, and expense claims.
-
Manual: complete translations in all languages, the latest news and videos, and explanations about the apps in the App Store and Google Play.
