Connect Intune app protection

The AI-School app for iPhone and Android supports Microsoft Intune app protection (MAM). To enable it, an Entra administrator grants one-time consent for the HandiHow AI-apps - Intune app in their organisation.

Which permissions?

  • Sign in and read your profile User.Read
  • Read and Write the User's App Management data (Intune app protection) DeviceManagementManagedApps.ReadWrite

Both permissions are delegated: the app works only on behalf of the signed-in employee. Consent can be granted by someone with the Entra Global Administrator or Privileged Role Administrator role.

After you select Accept, Microsoft will return you to this page to show the result. Don't refresh the Microsoft page while it's loading: this causes the AADSTS900561 error. If that happens, start again from this page.

Next steps

  1. In the Microsoft Entra admin center, go to Enterprise applications → HandiHow AI-apps - Intune → Permissions and check that both permissions have been granted for the entire organisation.
  2. Add the app to your App Protection Policy using the package name info.aischool (Android) and the bundle ID info.aischool.mobiel (iOS).
  3. Let us know when these steps are complete. We'll then enable Intune app protection for your AI-School environment.
